There is a blackness under your eyes these days that you cannot seem to get rid of. Sleep no longer comes easy, and the blood on your hands becomes a rushing river in your dreams, sweeping you away in a raging current. You tell yourself that it had to be done, that the atrocities you committed were a necessary evil, but each time, the lie becomes harder and harder to swallow.
Prelude Condition[]
After resolving setup, the Lead Investigator may gain a Dark Pact Condition to gain a Promise of Power Condition.
If the Lead Investigator gains the Condition, another investigator may spawn a number of Gates as indicated by the Reference card to gain a Promise of Power Condition.
If that investigator gains the Condition, a third investigator may advance 
Doom by 2 to gain a Promise of Power Condition.
